Do
estrogens protect against a severe course of Covid-19?
Estrogens are female sex
hormones that, in addition to controlling functions of the reproductive system,
exert significant effects on the majority of organs and tissues in the female
organism. Do they also play a role in the fact that women die of Covid-19 less
frequently than men?
